Corporate reality is a perfect matrix for fetishism. When office door closes, atavisms and fetishes wake up. The middle-aged man in the video is bathing in water dressed up in his office uniform. His suit is merging with his skin. In the background, Blixa Bargeld sings „silent is sexy”. Like the silence of a studio flat after the whole day spent in a noisy open-space. Or like the silence of an outsider, patiently bearing with mobbing and humiliation. In this silence all the weirdnesses thoroughly concealed through the day take over control. The video ends with the shooting of rats – is this an eruption of excitement shown before or rather a symbolic death in capitalist reality dominated by the big players?
